For Sales Managers: Technology Can Help But It Can't Save You

Intellective Insights: For Sales Managers: Technology Can Help But ...

Sometimes you get what you ask for and then suffer unintended consequences. Greetings Joe !

Thanks in sharing this article ...

Technology is a good tool - but will never replace "the human touch "  -  & where many go wrong ...

Great article Joe!  I agree with you ~ too much micromanaging is not necessarily a good thing.  In my personal experience, I truly believe when it comes to the sales managers' "other 50%" ( leadership, targeting, messaging, marketing, alignment, motivation, compensation and training.) that they should work hand in hand with the marketing department/manager. By doing so, it would greatly help out the salesforce and the marketing department by honing in on what's working ~ what's not working. Often times, this is not the case at most organizations and typically both departments don't see "eye to eye" even though the results would be for the greater good of the company.

So we're looking for a talented, ambitious printing veteran that is not afraid of hard work and is, or can be, a great leader. I like the way Warren Buffett put…See More
