Hi Tara - We could do it for $.047 per piece delivered if that is of any help. To Kelly's comment that they may be getting them printed overseas it may be a thought to ask them what their DELIVERED price is. Just a thought. Best of luck. Let me know…

Might be one of those fine China printers. I have run into pricing from China that was cheaper than I could buy paper for the job.

Hi Tara! I've been on PJ, I wanna say, a little over a year. I used to work for Semper, which was is a recruiting firm for the industry. That's how I stumbled across the site orginally. I love working in creative, fast paced environments, which is what attracted me to the print industry in the first place .... after I graduate, WHO knows! : ) It's so hard to say at this point. May stay in print, or migrate over into advertising. It's all one big happy family anyways.

Hey Tara,

A few weeks ago I was looking around the PJ site, and I came across recommended email marketing websites. There was a top 3 listed I think. I think it was you that listed them and wrote about them, but I can't remember exactly. I am looking for them again, but I can't seem to find the link. Can you help me out here?

Let me know,

Mike

Hey Tara - Maybe this article will help with overcoming the price driven sale:

http://www.mtdsalestraining.com/mtdblog/price-v-cost.html

You already have a great start on differentiating yourself. Some sales you just can't get and really, do you want the sale when the company does not believe they are worth more than just the lowest cost?

Making Sure the "Margin of Error" Happens to Someone Else

Last week a fellow sales rep was complaining that yet another job of hers had been screwed up in production and wouldn’t deliver on time. She might lose this client because this is not the first time there have been errors with their account. I listened and expressed the appropriate amount of concern. All sales people understand that quality… Continue

17 Key Differences Between Social Media and Traditional Marketing

Interesting article I read on Microgeist this morning:

http://microgeist.com/2009/04/17-key-differences-between-social-media-and-traditional-marketing/

I really love how this article breaks down social media and explains how and why it works. A great jumping off point for anyone thinking about looking into Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or a million other social media forums.
