Right now I'm in large format print. Last year I started looking at the industry trends and saw that large format was one area that showed growth. 2009 was slower then 2008 but we did have work, unlike a number of other areas of the industry. After the holiday break, things are getting busy, orders for banners, large presentation and sign boards are coming in on a steady basis.
The company I’m working for does do direct mail and business form, however, that is a different department than mine. Although, I do try to keep abreast of all aspics and trends in the print industry. I’m very interested in seeing what changes the Apple iPad brings to the news paper and magazine industry, including the direct mail and business forms.
