How to be a Better Journalist: Advice From an Un-Expert
By Malinda Martines

Okay, so I’m not Barbara Walters or Diane Sawyer, but I do have a passion for writing. I also feel the need to inform and educate people, most recently in the world of printing. I’m still learning a lot about the industry, and yes, I love the smell of fresh ink by the way! In college, when I decided to become a journalist, I promised myself I would be a good one. And now, as I’m about to give away my unoff… Continue

Hi Malinda!! Thanks for the comment. I'm doing well, thank you! Summer is going by way too fast but it's been great. How about you? How are things going for you? I saw a post below, are you getting married?!?

Melinda, I read on own of your postings that you are a creative writer. Have you written your own books? What kind of books? Have they been published?

Oh come on! Broker? I'm a "Print Consultant". You know better than to throw that word around... I love sales, I truly have a passion for it. I studied media management within the school of journalism - so I was more focused on the business end of the industry. I sold radio for a while out of college, and made the transition to printing about 5 months ago. It's been great so far, but there's sooooooooooooo much to learn!

Please can you advise of the best person to send pre-press software product press releases to?

Hi Malinda:
Just thought I'd reach out. I've been very involved in the Flexographic Technical Association over the years, and would gladly serve as a resource should you ever need it.

Hi Kelly - They insist they have to fold at 20, 21 & 24". I worked on the forms side of the business for years (as did my husband) and neither of us could think of any place that could do these. Ryan says Courier can do all but the 24". I appreciate…
