Has anyone had success combining social media with direct mail? I'm curious as to what the results were. Did you find that social media helped drive traffic to landing sites, etc?

Looking forward to seeing you at On Demand.
Unfortunately Xerox Supplies declined to have any real part in the exhibit.

How many people are you expecting to attend?

Lindsay, just read the article posted in your profile. Thanks for sharing...any ideas on the book that was referred to in the opening sentence? I'm always looking for new reads and was curious why it wasn't shared. Thanks!

Touche! Lindsay...
Are you inferring that now most iGen users have lots of time on their machines and their hands so they can twitter away the day....smile?

If Xerox machine operators have time to twitter, can you think of any ways that Xerox customers might use that time to improve production efficiencies at a time when Xerox profits dropped substantially last quarter and many Xerox customers are down sizing?

I am a firm believer in new technology and in thinking out side the box, but I am still seeking solid, business genrated and profit generated examples from the digital print industry that are results of a tweet.

Must be kismet! I'll look for you on Twitter too. If Xerox ever used the Xmpie technology and team to attack the social media space with print tools - that would be cool.

Most of my clients don't use the Green stock. But it does seem, now that economy has slowed, that there is less demand for Green. Its funny because there is no price difference. I believe there will be more demand once we get out of this downturn, seeing that our President has a bent toward the Green side. More awareness and Government help, the more people will swing toward the Green...IMO

I have been to both. I attended a class in Rochester and went to Graph Expo last year. What do you do at Xerox? The 5000 has great quality but is not very good with substrates. The 240 handles more substrates than the 5000. I have two print facilities so 1 has the 240 and the other has the iGen.

Great video Juan. I love that people are starting to get it!! I've been silently hiring 'screw-ups' (to quote Tom Peters) for years and they happen to be the strongest assets to our organization.

Great article! Here is a link to a short clip that has Tom Peters discussing much of the same thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_w4AfflmeM
