About Me
Been printing for nearly fifteen years now. Started with Witt Printing Company and running a snap collator. Moved to press, and finally into prepress where I've been stuck! Help! I'm trapped in here! I guess it's because I have a thing where I can do VOID pantographs (even prismatics) with any plain copy of Quark Xpress (no plugins, no dongles, no Aldertech, no Wicker, no licensing fees or royalties). I'm also a computer geek with some IT experience. My first computer had 1k of RAM and an 8k ROM chip with a cassette player for storage! I've seen a lot of evolution since then, didn't really get into graphics or Macs until 1999. I'm really familiar with Excel Softwares BFE FormPro MIS software, as the last two jobs I've had used it.
But, most of the time I get to typeset automobile forms, or something less than exciting or challenging. I do like my most current company, lots of good people here. Just wish that I could break on through to the "other" side of the office door!
But for now my career aspirations seem futile.

Yes. After leaving WK I was with Appleton Papers in their Security and Technical paper division. They took a series of management cuts in the last quarter of 2008. I decided to open my own company and pursue two things I love. New equipment ideas and marketing. Did we meet in my past life?
