I noticed several things.
One, business is picking up.
Two, buyers (end user, distributors and mfgs) are searching hard for new value to bring to their respective customers.
Three, buyers are being much more strategic in their business and re-thinking their current model.
Four, buyers are valuing if not demanding better education regarding solution development.
By all standards the event appeared to be a success. There was record attendance, strong representation by exhibitors and a very diverse but focused emphasis on education. As an exhibitor and education session speaker I was very pleased by the interest in our offerings. We stayed busy the entire expo discussing new products and ways to approach business. The one complaint I heard from several folks was that they were frustrated that they could not attend all the education sessions and vendors they had wanted. I view that as a positive comment. Unfortunately for me I did not have time to attend any educational sessions Wednesday or Thursday. I am curious to hear from attendees what sessions were most interesting and relevant to their current situation and why.

Great video Juan. I love that people are starting to get it!! I've been silently hiring 'screw-ups' (to quote Tom Peters) for years and they happen to be the strongest assets to our organization.
