Hi Florinda,
FLM Graphics recently produced a piece with a Soft Touch AQ and a spot UV....Looks Great! Let me know if I can help with any other details?
Hi Florinda,
While at my last company in Los Angeles we did it all the time. It is a very popular look for media packaging.
good luck,

We do the soft touch/strike out on many projects. Depending on the nature of the strik out we can chane the depth of the coating with different rollers. We have done in line UV over AQ on KBA 205 up to 59 x 81" offset.
Floriina - We've actually been able to run this process using a spot UV soft touch screen print ink. Because we can lay down such a thick deposit with screen mesh, we are able to get an excellent effect.

Hi, Yes have tried it and love it. It's probably one of favorite printing techniques. It looks especially good w/ heavy ink coverage. To take it over the top I recently did... 4-color process + 2-PMS colors, overall matte soft-touch AQ, spot gloss UV, and metallic foil stamp. Oh, did I mention it was die cut.
Let us know how your project turns out! All the best, C
Thank you to all of you who have answered my question. I am getting more requests for this type of paper/coating especially in the cosmetic industry. 'Wish you all the best.

Great video Juan. I love that people are starting to get it!! I've been silently hiring 'screw-ups' (to quote Tom Peters) for years and they happen to be the strongest assets to our organization.
