Yes it's true.  My partner and I are opening a facility in China.  The opening is planned for June and we are starting with digital black & white and color VDP, fulfillment and extensive online ordering capabilities.  We have also been asked to work as a broker to help with direct purchases and quality/quantity inspections done in Asia.

With over 23 years experience in the industry, now there is a way to get trade printing and support in China with the quality you would expect in the USA.

I'll keep the updates coming but please let me know if you have any questions.

Brian,

I just came back from a trip to China and it was beautiful and wonderful. My husband's company has a facility there but they are owned by a German manufacturer. We had an opportunity to go to Hong Kong, Shang Hai, Bejing, Guilin and see many beautiful sites. It is a memory that I will sincerely treasure. If I can help you in the area of envelopes or labels in any way I would love to. We are a full-service envelope manufacturer / converter and have over 1,600 products available with online ordering to make it easier and trackable. Let me know if you need samples or help of any kind.

Good luck to you in your endeavor.

Renee

Hi Renee and thank you for the good luck wishes.  I love it there too.  Since my wife's family is in Beijing and near Shanghai I've been in those two cities the most.  We are opening the facility in a city just outside Shanghai in Taicang were my sister in law is the controller for a German company too.  Small world.  I will definitely keep you in mind regarding envelopes or labels.  Please let your husband know that if his company there needs any marketing materials I'd love to have the opportunity.

Will do Brian and yes I do believe it is a small world. My husband works for TTI and Milwaukee Electric Tool and they are located in Shen Zen. Sorry for the misspellings...I think you get the idea.

This is great.  A several of my clients have asked us to support their international needs.  Do you imagine to be able help provide print needs in other international arenas besides China?

Thanks

Tracy

Actually, yes.  Our hope is to be opening another location in Europe within 1-2 years of our China opening.  Thank you for asking and I'll let you know how that developes.

Thanks,

Brian

With those cities all being in south China where it's warm, I bet you wish you were there now!
Well, except China have you found any other city in which this type of work is continue or was... ?

Hi Mariah.

I've been too busy setting up the new company in China and have not had the time to check other areas.  But I would also like to take this company idea to Europe in a couple ways.  I can currently service many countries from the Shanghai area where I am now, but widening this to places in Europe would be one of my next choices.

heloo Brian ..!
Congratulations for your new company in China...!
Well Its no problem if you don't have time for the other place, take you time to your mission of Europe.
GoodLuck..!
Hi Brian!  Sounds like a great idea!!  I'm trying to find someone to produce a 10,000 piece poly pocket job for a customer of mine...any ideas?  It's a complex piece but they do it every quarter and I know they are already having it produced in China so I'm trying to keep it there to stay competitive.  If you are able to assist with this, let me know!  Thanks and good luck!
Hi Laura and thank you for asking.  I'd be happy to see what I can do for you.  I'm currently in the USA but I'm leaving to go back to work in China Monday morning.  Any chance you have any samples you can send me here in Kansas before I leave?  Please email me at brian@sanlinsolutions.com and thanks.

Print broker software

Hi All,I would really appreciate some feedback from somebody that has used Xetex Xebra software.  I am considering a new direction for our software needs.  Currently we have ACT as a CRM, quotewerks for quoting and PO placement, and quickbooks for accounting.  IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!!  I need something that is fully integrated.  Any feedback would really help.See More

"We have been using Quotewerks.  It's a good program but can only do the estimating.  "
