Hi Fran, thanks for the response and I actually did look thru the blogs all the way to January but nothing. Can someone post something and then just delete it? Especially specs? That would be a cruel joke!
Hi, Manny - Just to let you know that users have the ability to delete their own discussions at any time. It's not meant to be a cruel joke! A lot of times if people spec a project when they find their source they remove the discussion. This is to help prevent people from attempting to quote a project that is no longer for bid. There are many source requests posted to this site regularly - I'm sure you'll be able to partner with someone!
Hi! In this event, like they have in linkedin they should posted a message telling people that a supplier has been chosen and the bid is closed. This will keep suppliers from sending the client messages whether its still open and keep suppliers on taking up estimators time in quoting on a project that's already been closed!
I believe that was for Darren at Crown Printing. I quoted on that project, as well. He awarded that job around July 20th. I could be wrong but those specs sound familiar to the quote I provided.
Really? It was my first night as a junkie and I could have sworn that it was recent. but i could be wrong since my eyes popped out of my head when I saw the quantity and the specs.
how do i go about looking for Darren at Crown Printing?
I am new to this, as well. I don't know if I should put his contact info on this post. I will send your contact info to Darren and let him know that youa re trying to get in touch with him.
FYI Manny, if you go to the "Junkies" link at the top of every page here there's a Search field. Click the Advanced link and you can enter company, location, etc. and odds are get a hit right away. I got this for Darren by just entering "Crown" in the Company field.

Great video Juan. I love that people are starting to get it!! I've been silently hiring 'screw-ups' (to quote Tom Peters) for years and they happen to be the strongest assets to our organization.
