Direct Mail Sales Rep.For our clients Direct Marketing division, we are seeking a successful sales executive for New York City. COMPENSATION Open - compensation will depend on experience, client relationships and any potential book of business. Non-recoverable draw for the first year to 18 months. There is no cap on compensation.Excellent benefits plan includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, AD&D, short and long term disability.Attributes 5 years of printing industry sales experience University degree or comparable work experience Personal motivation for success Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Effectively manage multiple clients and work independently Regional travel required Targeted BackgroundsRR Donnelley, Vertis, Transcontinental Direct, Segerdahl, Visant-Lehigh Direct, Harte Hanks, Quad Graphics, Brown, Three Z, Advo and similarRequirementsRequirements Proven sales track record of at least 3 million in the past year of commercial web printing of Direct Mail. Hunter sales mentality with a proven track record of closing new business. Must be strong at developing long-term relationships. Must think outside the box and be creative in their sales approach. Need a sales person who has solved business issues - not just selling printing projects. Must have experience selling to (CMOs) Chief Marketing Officers and other Marketing professionals rather than selling just to Print Purchasing Managers. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Bachelors degree preferred. Polished business acumen. Microsoft Office skills. Persuasive, flexible and relentlessly competitive nature No job hoppers. Must be able to travel as necessary to see clients and to printing plant.
