As some of you already know, I write the monthly Printer in Transition features for Printing News. I'm always looking for printers to talk to, and this series focuses on print shops that started out as mom and pop traditional offset shops but over the years have transformed into digital shops/marketing firms. I'm looking for those who are keeping up with new technology and doing VDP work too.
Due to the recession, the focus is taking another angle too. How are printers able to keep up with the changing industry and generate new business? Yes, business is still out there, but where are you finding it? How are you retaining it?
If you would like to be featured, please email email@example.com. Although PN's focus is mainly in the Northeast (NY, NJ, PA, CT), if you have a fascinating story elsewhere I'd like to talk to you. I look forward to hearing what you have to say and learning from you. Your participation will be valuable, as it helps make printers' jobs better.
